Q1. Where do I get started in making antibodies for my interested targets?

A1. Please go directly to the Service section and follow our step-by-step instructions using our Narrow-Down System (NDS). It is an efficient and quick way to find out a solution for your concerns and questions. You can also email us via info@abbiosci.com. Afterwards, our customer service will reply to you as soon as possible.

Q2. Is there an alternative way to make antibodies without using  animals?

A2. Yes. That is why ABBIOSCI, Inc was founded.  rAb can be quickly selected and identified in Vitro.

Q3. How do I properly store my antibodies?

A3. This is a very common question from customers. In general, an antibody needs to stay in a cold and sterile condition without frequently being frozen and thawed.  Any contamination during use must be avoided and prevented. For an individual antibody, specific descriptions are always given in the datasheet.

Q4. What is the difference between the packages and the individual services for antibody generation?

A4. We offer you a great deal for package service in three format antibodies, pAb, mAb and rAb. Combination and conversion of the three formats are only available through our package service, not for the individual ones. Furthermore, customers can have very flexible options to continue their projects. See more details in the Antibody Formats section.

Q5. What are membership benefits?

A5. All members can take  5-10% off in purchasing our services and products.
We also offer free storage of hybridoma and experimental materials on an annual base. See more options and offer details in our Membership section.

Q6. Can I restart my antibody-based project, if I have a project identification number?

A6. Yes, you can. The ID number is linked to your project’s profile, material, and antibody gene.

Q7. How long do you store tissue, DNA, or plasmid information after finishing the project?

A7. Once receiving an ID number from us, we will keep the information for at least six months.  This time can be prolonged if you are a valued  membership customer.

Q8. Is it possible to have both antibody formats simultaneously, pAb and mAb or pAb and rAb or mAb and rAb?

A8. It is feasible and always open to customers. The choice is up to you.  Please check all options we provide in the Antibody Formats section.

Q9. Can you quickly make an antibody with binding functions if I have an antibody gene only?

A9. Technically, we can make it. However, we do need to know your project background and then figure out the issue after reading your project summary.

Q10. How do you deal with a problem if an antibody from ABBIOSCI does not work once we receive it?

A10. We will seriously discuss with you to see what’s really causing the problem.  Technical support will give you a clear workable instruction to see if it was a technical or storing and handling problem.

Q11. Does ABBIOSCI accept antibodies from a third partner through a license?

A11. Yes, we do. Our door opens to each potential owner who has an antibody with market value. Please simply email your concern via licensing@abbiosci.com. Afterwards, our business manager will contact and speak with you on this matter.

Q12. How do we further modify a well-characterized pAb and mAb by antibody engineering?

A12. First of all, you must quickly determine whether it is quite necessary to do it. In other words, why do you need to do it? Second, do you have an available antibody gene from the parent pAb or mAb? That is whether you already formatted the  rAb from either pAb or mAb. Lastly, what is your final purpose for doing that?  As long as you provide this information, we will propose a workable strategy for your review to explain how we will process accordingly.

Q13. ABBIOSCI offers Membership opportunities to all customers. What exact benefits do we get for joining?

A13. The Membership Benefit section gives a very clear description for what we promise to offer. More benefits will be offered with our business development and growth. Very importantly, the annual fee will be redeemed in your first invoice, rather than a separate payment.
